  1. I can’t believe you didn’t have them thrown out when they started cursing. I wouldn’t tolerate that shit for one second. Do you have security where you work?

  2. I fucking hate when the management over rule you in front of the customer. It’s well out of order. Hell we are mostly following their bloody rules too……mostly…..

  3. “I only wish that Fat Frannies wart gets bigger and bigger until it finally consumes her alive, and Gothic Gary feasts on the corpse.” – hee hee, that’s hilarious.

  4. Ribeye, I don’t swear – I just don’t unless I am really angry (and food that isn’t perfect isn’t enough to make me angry). I can’t believe that people toss f*ck around with the abandon that some of your customers seem to do.

  5. Am I the only one that doesn’t know where you work? Alot of your posts require you to endure abuse daily. I really hope these kinds of posts are embellished.

You can take the family out of the trailer, but you can’t take the trailer out of the family.

  6. She THREW SHIT AT YOU?

That was grounds for having her tossed out on her ass, period.

I’m glad that in the end, you did throw those assholes out.

    Unfuckingbelievable.

  7. While I don’t wish to incur the “Wrath of the Ribeye,” your restaurant seems a bit pricey. I mean, a couple burgers, chicken fingers, and teas for 65 bones? Ouch.

Around here, there isn’t a restaurant within a mile of a bowling alley even close to those prices. I have to dig deeper in the archives to find out more about your work.

(BTW…on behalf of my entire family, I wish to apologize for our unacceptable behavior. And, so you know, my sister prefers being called “Phat Phrannie.” –Bucktooth Billy)

    Peace,

  8. Please explain to me why some people believe their love and want of excess (in this case, ranch) should be free? Who thinks like this? Even Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc charge for extra sides of sauces. Or, on a level these people can relate, Mc Donalds for years now has had signs up detailing that ‘x’ size of nuggets comes with ‘y’ numbers of sauces and any EXCESS (extra) costs, well, EXTRA.

    Un-freakin’-believable!
Do people think ranch fairies just dump ranch for free at restaurant doorsteps?

It’s been almost 8yrs since I last waitressed, I had hoped the ‘ranch craze’ would have subsided.

(PS—I like “regular Ribeye” the best.)

  9. Dennis – I believe that price included gameplay which is what made it so expensive. That was the promo they were talking about.

  10. “I mean, a couple burgers, chicken fingers, and teas for 65 bones?”

Four people yes would be 65 at most restaurants where I live. Only place you would get cheaper would be fast food or perhaps a truck service diner.

  11. I didn’t mean to sound naive. I guess prices here in my part of Michigan are more reasonable than I gave credit. Seriously…I worked at an upscale seafood restaurant, and while we were not cheap in any other area — seafood, after all, is expensive in the Midwest ($40 for a pound of king crab) — the items mentioned would be about half that price on our menu.

  12. “seafood, after all, is expensive in the Midwest ($40 for a pound of king crab)”

Where I live you can eat all the alaskan king crab at a Chinese buffet for 12 bucks.

Other places if it is added to a meal a pound would be about 10 bucks if I recall right or a meal with sides extras 20 bucks. A steak and two lobster tails would be like 30 bucks with two sides of your choice. Soda drinks you just get charged once then refills are free.

Upscale places in the state I live and a few other neighboring states an upscale place 40-70 min bucks is what one person’s meal would cost. Even places like Steak and Ale aren’t usually any more expensive then most other restaurants where I live.
